Abu Dhabi(News Desk):: Global Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh will ring in 2027 in the UAE capital, bringing his AURA World Tour to Etihad Live, Yas Island, for its only Middle East date: a one-night-only New Year’s Eve celebration on Thursday, 31 December 2026. Spanning 40 cities across 15 countries and five continents, from Sydney and Kuala Lumpur to New York, London, Mumbai and Delhi, the AURA World Tour has broken records on three continents. In Australia, Diljit became the first Punjabi artist to headline and sell out stadiums, drawing more than 90,000 fans. The 2026 North American leg drew more than 225,000 fans and grossed USD 32 million across 15 shows, beating the record he set with his 2024 Dil-Luminati Tour, and included two consecutive sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden. The nine-city European and UK leg included a sold-out show at London’s Wembley Stadium on 12 September 2026, where he became the first Punjabi artist to headline the venue.
Born in Punjab, India, Diljit made history in 2023 as the first Indian-born artist to perform at Coachella. His catalogue includes G.O.A.T, Lover and Proper Patola, which together have more than 700 million views, alongside collaborations with Sia on Hass Hass and J Balvin on a remix of Senorita. The current tour supports his album Aura, released on 15 October 2025.
He is also an established actor. In 2025, he received an International Emmy nomination for Best Performance by an Actor for the Netflix film Amar Singh Chamkila, and VOGUE readers named him Best Dressed at the Met Gala for his custom ivory Prabal Gurung sherwani and turban.
