Cambridge Health Group Surpasses 700 Licensed Beds Across the UAE and Saudi Arabia
Expansion at Cambridge Hospital Al Khobar increases the Group’s licensed capacity in Saudi Arabia to 420 beds, with total capacity expected to approach 800 beds
Abu Dhabi(News Desk)::Cambridge Health Group (“CHG”), the GCC’s leading post-acute care provider and a subsidiary of Amanat Holdings PJSC (“Amanat”), today announces that Cambridge Hospital Al Khobar has received regulatory approval to increase its licensed capacity from 100 to 150 beds, an increase of 50%.
The approval marks another milestone in the Group’s expansion strategy, increasing Cambridge Health Group’s licensed capacity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to 420 beds and taking total licensed capacity across the UAE and Saudi Arabia to more than 700 beds.
Licensed capacity is expected to increase to approximately 800 beds following the completion of the Group’s ongoing expansion in Jeddah and the licensing of additional capacity at its Dhahran facility, supporting the continued growth of specialist post-acute healthcare services across the region.
Since opening in November 2024, Cambridge Hospital Al Khobar has provided specialist long-term care, adult and pediatric rehabilitation, ventilated care, intensive care, home healthcare and diagnostic services. The hospital has experienced strong demand since opening, reflecting the increasing need for specialist post-acute care within the Kingdom.
