AbuDhabi(News Desk)::His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaytoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, visited the Abu Dhabi Physical Fitness Testing Ground and reviewed the initiatives of the Police Physical Education Center, which it implements according to an advanced methodology aimed at raising the efficiency of recruits, which positively impacts the nature of police and security work.
His Excellency urged police personnel to continue practicing sports, explaining that it is a lifestyle that fosters discipline, determination, and a strong will. He emphasized that police personnel are positive role models in performing their duties with precision and professionalism.
The initiatives aim to enhance the constant physical readiness of police personnel around the clock and enable them to engage in regular exercise. The most prominent initiatives include the “Ready 24/7” initiative, the “Fitness is a Lifestyle” initiative, and the periodic physical fitness screening program. They also conduct periodic tests to assess the physical fitness level of police personnel, classify personnel according to their fitness levels, and prepare development plans tailored to each category.
