Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority promotes a culture of home safety for families
AbuDhabi(Web Desk)::The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, in cooperation with Family Development, has strengthened the culture of home safety for families by visiting families, coinciding with the “Year of the Family”, and emphasizing the importance of empowering families with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure a safe and stable home environment, and promoting a culture of prevention and safety among all members of society.
The visit included an awareness workshop on home safety concepts and ways to prevent potential hazards and accidents. The workshop also covered the basics of handling emergencies and trained family members on the correct use of fire extinguishers, thus enhancing their preparedness to deal with household accidents efficiently and quickly, and reducing human and material losses.
The authority stressed that the goal of these initiatives is to instill preventive awareness in families, and to enable them to act properly in emergency situations, in addition to supporting efforts aimed at protecting lives and property, and building a safer society that is better prepared to face various risks.
