In Honor of “Commemoration Day” Qasr Al Watan Welcomes Families and Children of UAE Martyrs
Abu Dhabi(News Desk):: Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Martyrs’Families Affairs Office, welcomed the families of UAE martyrs as part of a special initiative held in honor of “UAE Commemoration Day”, observed annually on 30 November. The visit served as a heartfelt tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the nation’s heroes.
The families were accompanied by a cultural tour specialist as they explored the Palace’s halls and cultural and educational spaces. The tour included a visit to The Great Hall, which hosts major national events and features historical artefacts that reflect the UAE’s rich cultural heritage. The families were also introduced to exhibits that showcase the journey of the UAE’s leadership and the landmark
achievements that have shaped the nation’s development.
The visit continued with a tour of the Qasr Al Watan Library, home to an extensive collection documenting the UAE’s political, social, and cultural journey, along with the opportunity to explore several interactive experiences offered throughout the Palace.
This initiative reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to supporting the families of martyrs, recognizing their noble sacrifices, and honoring their profound and established place in society. It also underscores the importance of empowering younger generations to remain united in pursuit of the UAE’s continued progress and strength.
