The comedian behind viral hits such as “Brothers” and “Grown Up” will perform at Emirates International Theatre on Saturday, 28 November as part of Comedy Box Office Season 7

DUBAI, UAE: From writing jokes in school to building a career on stage and online, Indian comedian Jaspreet Singh, popularly known as Life of Paaji, has taken an unconventional route to comedy. He will bring his observational humour and relatable storytelling to Emirates International Theatre on 28 November 2026, as part of Comedy Box Office Season 7, presented by Spotlight Entertainment.
Raised in Amritsar, Jaspreet discovered his interest in comedy early, writing jokes as far back as Class 6. Although he pursued a career in software engineering, performing remained a part of his life. During college, he participated in stage shows, skits and solo performances, as well as representing his university in dance.
His entry into professional stand-up began with a performance in Gurugram in March 2015. At the time, he was working in the corporate sector and performing at comedy shows on weekends. He eventually left his job in January 2018 to pursue comedy full-time, turning a long-standing interest into a career that has taken him to audiences across India and internationally. His humour draws on everyday experiences, relationships, family dynamics and the small absurdities of modern life.
Jaspreet’s digital following reflects the appeal of his conversational, observational style. Among his most-viewed performances on YouTube are:
- Brothers | Jaspreet Singh Standup Comedy – His most-viewed video, with approximately 12.6 million views, exploring the dynamics of sibling relationships.
- Jaspreet Singh Crowd Work Comedy – A live audience interaction performance with approximately 7.7 million views, showcasing his ability to find humour in spontaneous conversations.
- Grown Up | Standup Comedy Special – His stand-up special, with approximately 7.2 million views, drawing on the experiences and realities of growing up.
The November performance is part of Comedy Box Office’s four-month season, which has brought Indian stand-up comedians and digital comedy creators to Dubai. The season opened in September with Rajat Chauhan, Siddhartha Shetty and Anmol Garg.
Jaspreet’s show will bring his latest act “Straight Up,” to the Dubai audience, along with his online comedy persona to the live stage. The evening will feature recognisable situations, sharp observations and the everyday humour that audiences see reflected in their own lives.
The season will conclude in December with Sharon Verma making her first-ever Dubai appearance on 27 December 2026. Following her breakout moment on India’s Got Latent, she will headline the finale, bringing another rising Indian comedy name to UAE audiences.
