World Champions Crowned as EEIPC 2026 Concludes at CLYMB™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi

Over 250 athletes from 30+ nations compete in four days of world-class indoor skydiving action

Abu Dhabi(News Desk):: The Emirates EASA International Parachuting Championships 2026 (EEIPC 2026) came to a spectacular close last night at CLYMB™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Champions were crowned in the presence of Dr. Mohammad Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral, alongside Youssef Hassan Al Hammadi, Vice President of the Emirates Aerosports Federation; Mohamed Youssef, Secretary General of the Federation; Andrey Barabash, President of EASA; and Hussein Al Hassni, Deputy General Manager of CLYMB™ Yas Island Abu Dhabi.

Hosted by CLYMB™ Abu Dhabi in collaboration with the EASA and the Emirates Aerosports Federation, the second official EEIPC World Skydiving Championships welcomed more than 250 elite athletes representing over 30 countries. For the first time, athletes representing the United Arab Emirates competed alongside the world’s leading indoor skydivers.

Across five championship events, competitors delivered breathtaking performances inside the world’s largest indoor skydiving flight chamber, showcasing extraordinary levels of speed, precision and teamwork across multiple disciplines.

In the 3rd International Skydiving 16-Way Double Event for Indoor Formation Skydiving, team from Russia claimed the world title after a series of technically outstanding formation sequences.

The champions of the 2nd International Indoor Skydiving 8-Way Event were confirmed as “Tanay” from Russia, following an intense multi-round contest featuring some of the sport’s most accomplished teams.

The Aerial Indoor Racing World Championships 2026 saw thrilling high-speed battles across pursuit, relay and race formats. The Pursuit title was claimed Sebastian Garcia (Mexico), the Relay champions were Landon Karaberis and James Rogers (USA), while the overall Race crown was secured by Sebastian Garcia (USA).

Two brand-new disciplines made their world debut at EEIPC 2026. The inaugural International Indoor Skydiving 4-Way Battle Event, an innovative all-female head-to-head format, was won by “SIBERRIES” (Russia), while the first ever International Vertical Sequentials 8-Way World Champions were crowned as team from USA after delivering a series of flawless routines.

With competitors representing nations including Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United States and many more, EEIPC 2026 reaffirmed Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation as a global hub for major global sporting events and entertainment.-ENDS-
