UAE Progressive Metal Band Private Government Unveils Come and Take: Immersia.
Dubai(Web Desk)::31st August,2026: UAE-based progressive metal band Private Government has released Come and Take: Immersia, a definitive immersive edition of its acclaimed concept album Come and Take, marking a major milestone for metal music production in the UAE and wider Middle East.
Released worldwide on August 26, 2026, through Metal East Records, the new edition brings together the complete Special Edition of the album, originally released on CD in 2018, with newly recorded performances, refined arrangements and a completely reimagined Dolby Atmos mix.
The band describes the release as the first metal album and first metal concept album produced in the UAE and MENA region to embrace immersive audio, placing listeners at the centre of a continuous cinematic sound experience.
The Dolby Atmos mix was produced at MNK Studios in Dubai, with Jason Baretto and Miltiadis Kyvernitis rebuilding the album for three-dimensional sound while retaining the character and essence of the original recording.
Unlike conventional albums designed for individual-track listening, Come and Take: Immersia was created as one uninterrupted musical journey. Transitions, ambient textures and musical cues connect the tracks without silence, encouraging listeners to experience the album as a complete work.
The new release also features newly recorded bass performances by regional bassist Rami Lakkis, alongside subtle refinements to the arrangements. The track listing has been restored to its originally intended Greek titles, with English titles appearing in brackets.
“From the very beginning, Come and Take was never intended to be experienced as a collection of songs,” said Miltiadis Kyvernitis, producer and founder of Private Government. “It was written as one continuous musical journey. Dolby Atmos finally gave us the canvas to realise that vision exactly as we imagined it.”
He added that the project is not simply a new mix, but represents the album reaching its final form, while deliberately challenging the modern trend toward playlist-based and single-song consumption.
Eight years after its original release, Come and Take: Immersia combines the band’s established musical identity with contemporary immersive production technology, highlighting the growing potential for ambitious heavy music productions to emerge from the Middle East.
The album is available worldwide in Stereo and Dolby Atmos on supported digital streaming platforms.
