 In a speech marking the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, held this year under the slogan “A Conscious Family, a Safe Society,” His Excellency praised the wise leadership’s interest and awareness of the importance of concerted security, community, and educational efforts to prevent this dangerous phenomenon. He explained that the family is at the forefront of the defense, as it is the primary incubator and primary guide to children’s behavior. .

 He added: “We at Abu Dhabi Police work according to integrated strategies based on awareness and education, in addition to control and surveillance. We cooperate closely with our partners in government and community institutions to promote a safe environment free of white toxins.” .

 On this occasion, he paid tribute and appreciation to all the anti-drug teams, calling on everyone to shoulder their responsibilities in building a conscious family capable of protecting children from the clutches of addiction, because the security of society begins with the awareness of its members.
