Solutions+ Community Football League Concludes with an Exceptional Finale in Abu Dhabi
Sudanese Club Crowned Champions, Royal Gas Finish as Runners-Up
The League Establishes a Community Sports Model Aligned with the National Sports Strategy 2031
Abu Dhabi(News Desk)::: Solutions+, a Mubadala Investment Company, has concluded the inaugural edition of the Solutions+ Community Football League 2025-2026, a landmark community sports initiative organised with the support of Mubadala Investment Company. The closing ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi amid strong official and public attendance, celebrating initiatives that promote community engagement and support the UAE’s sports ecosystem.
The tournament concluded with Sudanese Club Team securing first place following their victory over Royal Gas Team in the final match, while Al Raqi Team claimed third place after defeating Al Shabab Team, bringing the championship to a close.
The league’s final match took place at ACTIVE Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Surour Al Sharqi, Advisor at Solutions+, Nasir Al Nabhani, Managing Director of Solutions+, Dr. Khalid Al Mazrouei, Advisor at Solutions+, and Hadi Al
Askari, Senior Vice President, Partnerships, Community Outreach & Events at Mubadala Investment Company.
The event was attended by a number of officials, athletes, and the community, who witnessed the crowning of the league’s winning teams. The total prize pool for the competition amounted to AED 80,000.

He added: “Today’s celebration goes beyond crowning champions. It represents an approach focused on promoting sports culture among youth and fostering positive competition in an engaging environment that brings together different segments of the community.”
Launched in November 2025, the Solutions+ Community Football League marked a significant milestone in promoting healthy lifestyles, developing a platform that highlights sporting talent, and inspiring youth to engage in sports and develop their skills. Theinaugural edition featured 32 teams from across Abu Dhabi, with each team comprising 12 to 20 players.
The tournament hosted four matches daily, averaging 20 matches per week over a three-month period, creating a vibrant sporting atmosphere that combined competitive spirit with community enjoyment.
This initiative was presented and supported by Mubadala Investment Company, which played a pivotal role in enabling youth and community members to benefit from advanced sports opportunities, raising awareness of the importance of health and physical activity, and
providing a motivating environment that reinforces sports as a foundation for personal and social development. -END-
