The highly anticipated ceremony will reveal the MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2026 selection, celebrating the exceptional talent, diversity and innovation that continue to shape Dubai’s rapidly growing gastronomy sector.
Since its launch, the MICHELIN Guide Dubai has established itself as an important annual event on the city’s culinary calendar, highlighting Dubai’s transformation into a leading global dining destination. The Guide’s presence in the emirate is supported by destination partner Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).
Celebrating Dubai’s Culinary Diversity
Dubai’s dining scene brings together culinary talent from across the world, offering residents and international visitors an extensive range of cuisines, concepts and dining experiences.
Following the announcement of the 2026 selection, guests will attend a curated reception featuring a premium cocktail experience and signature culinary creations prepared by chefs from a selection of MICHELIN-recognised restaurants.
The participating restaurants include Row on 45, awarded Two MICHELIN Stars in the MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2025; avatāra, awarded One MICHELIN Star; Hōseki, also awarded One MICHELIN Star; Glass Hostaria, recognised with One MICHELIN Star in the MICHELIN Guide Italy 2026; and Berenjak, a Bib Gourmand recipient in the MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2025.
The chefs will showcase signature canapés, offering guests a taste of the creativity, craftsmanship and culinary identity behind their recognised restaurants.
Global Standards for Culinary Excellence
MICHELIN Stars remain among the most prestigious distinctions in the international restaurant industry. One MICHELIN Star recognises high-quality cooking that is worth a stop, while Two MICHELIN Stars recognise excellent cooking that is worth a detour. Three MICHELIN Stars are awarded for exceptional cuisine considered worthy of a special journey.
The Guide also awards the Bib Gourmand to restaurants offering quality food at moderate prices, recognising establishments that provide particularly strong value to diners.
MICHELIN Inspectors assess restaurants according to five universal criteria: the quality of ingredients, mastery of cooking techniques, harmony of flavours, the personality of the chef expressed through the cuisine, and consistency over time and across the menu.
The MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2026 selection is expected to further showcase the depth, diversity and continued evolution of the emirate’s culinary landscape.
The new selection will be unveiled during the ceremony on 6 October, with further updates to be announced ahead of the event.
