ICSTSI Celebrates Philippine National Day, Strengthens Commitment to Bilateral Trade Growth.

Islamabad(News Desk):: The Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries (ICSTSI) hosted a special ceremony at Jahangir Akhtar Hall to celebrate the National Day of the Republic of the Philippines, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening trade, investment, and business cooperation between Pakistan and the Philippines.
The event was graced by His Excellency Emmanuel R. Fernandez, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Pakistan, who attended as the Chief Guest. The gathering brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and members of the chamber to discuss opportunities for expanding bilateral economic relations.
Addressing the audience, ICSTSI Vice President Sardar Zaheer Ahmed emphasized the chamber’s dedication to building stronger international partnerships and creating new opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises. He highlighted the importance of enhanced collaboration in trade, entrepreneurship, and business-to-business (B2B) engagement.
Ambassador Fernandez welcomed the initiative and expressed optimism about the future of Pakistan-Philippines economic relations. He encouraged greater interaction between the business communities of both countries and underscored the potential for increased trade, investment, and mutual growth.
Both sides agreed that continued dialogue and closer cooperation between entrepreneurs and business organizations would contribute significantly to strengthening bilateral economic ties and unlocking new opportunities for investment and commercial exchange.
Among those in attendance were ICSTSI President Muhammad Awais Satti, Senior Vice President Sheikh Tayyab Saeed, Executive Members Altaf Gohar and Hassan Gulzari, former President Malik Nadeem, former Vice President Aqeel Abbasi, Council Member Sajid Iqbal, Engr. Muhammad Javed from the United Arab Emirates, and Rashid Humayun.
The ceremony concluded with a shared commitment to promoting stronger business relations, enhancing trade connectivity, and fostering long-term economic cooperation between Pakistan and the Philippines.
