Hudayriyat Sports invites companies from across Abu Dhabi to compete in the second edition of the Hudayriyat Corporate Games

Abu Dhabi(News Desk):: The Hudayriyat Corporate Games, Abu Dhabi’s largest corporate sporting event of the year, is returning for its highly anticipated second edition in January 2026. The three-day festival of fitness, teamwork and camaraderie will bring together top talent from companies across the emirate for the ultimate multi-sport showdown, creating connections that go beyond the office.

The Hudayriyat Corporate Games will take place on Hudayriyat Island and at 321 Sports, home to the largest sports dome in the Middle East, from 16 to 18 January 2026. The event is presented by Binance and supported by Trojan, Spark Compass, and Wasserman Live.

Building on the massive success of last year’s inaugural edition, the games return with more sports, more participants and a bigger stage to crown the ultimate corporate champion. To make the event as inclusive as possible, there will be a choice of 21 disciplines – from team sports to individual sports and e-sports. These include football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, padel, table tennis, golf, karting, running, swimming, cycling, fitness, obstacle course race, dragon boat race, tug of war, chess, backgammon, FIFA PlayStation and a new addition – netball.

Expected to attract more than 3,000 participants, the competition is open to all employees of registered companies, regardless of fitness level. Spectators, including participants’ family members, enter for free. The event village will feature a play area with kids’ activities, an F&B zone with the focus on healthy food options, a DJ, entertainment, family competitions and Zumba sessions, along with various activations by the event’s sponsors and partners to keep everyone engaged. To promote sustainability, refillable water stations will be available across the village.

The inaugural edition of the Hudayriyat Corporate Games in November 2024 brought together 22 entities, including ADNEC Group, Deloitte, Department of Municipalities and Transport, Emirates Nuclear Energy Company, Etihad Airways, EY, NMDC Group, PwC, Trojan Construction Group and Wio Bank. Almost 2,200 participants representing 73 nationalities competed for 339 medals, with more than 1,500 spectators cheering them on.

The games support Hudayriyat Island’s vision for healthy and active lifestyles, while last year’s strong turnout and positive feedback from the participants underscore the competition’s significance as a platform for team building, networking and wellness among Abu Dhabi’s top corporate entities. This high-energy weekend will provide companies of all sizes with an ideal opportunity to bring their employees together outside work, enhancing their well-being, pushing boundaries, and forging unique bonds in an atmosphere of friendly competition.

The first three winners in their respective categories in each discipline will earn points and receive medals. The company with the highest score in team sports will take home the Best Team Sport Award, and the company with the highest overall number of points will be crowned the Corporate Sports Team of the Year. Spectators also have the chance to win the Best Supported Company Award for their employer.
