Abu Dhabi Police welcomes participants in the “Police Heroes of Tomorrow” program.
Abu Dhabi(News Desk)::AbuDhabi Police welcomed 450 participants in the seventh edition of the “Police Heroes of Tomorrow” program for 2025. The program was held at Khalifa City School in the capital, Abu Dhabi, and in Al Ain at the Police Rehabilitation Department building, affiliated with the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences. The program targets male and female Emirati students aged 11 to 15, as part of summer programs aimed at instilling national values. The program will continue in the cities of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain until the end of July 2025.
Major General Thani Butti Al Shamsi, Director of the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, emphasized that the program embodies the Abu Dhabi Police’s vision of supporting and qualifying the younger generations. He noted the Abu Dhabi Police’s commitment to providing a stimulating and safe environment that instills positive values in children.
Brigadier Hussein Ali Al Junaibi, Director of the Police Rehabilitation Department, stated that the program is an educational and national initiative and a model to be emulated for optimal investment of students’ energies during the summer vacation.
The program includes awareness-raising activities and educational lectures on Emirati heritage, which is a key component of national identity. It also includes awareness of drug prevention, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and Islamic culture. It also includes community dialogue sessions, field visits to various police departments, and security awareness skills through practical application of the Security Sense Street program, as well as jiu-jitsu training, virtual shooting, and recreational activities such as swimming and horseback riding.
Parents expressed their pride in the Abu Dhabi Police initiative, which contributes to building a conscious, disciplined generation capable of assuming responsibility.
