will be held from November 6 to 9 at Yas Links Stadium on Yas Island

Abu Dhabi(News Desk):: The Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the DP World Tour have announced the participation of Ryder Cup stars and Rolex Series winners in the highly anticipated Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, taking place from November 6 to 9 at Yas Links on Yas Island.
Matt Fitzpatrick, Tyrrell Hatton and Robert McIntyre will compete alongside Masters champion and Grand Slam favorite Rory McIlroy, as part of a star-studded line-up for the penultimate event on the DP World Tour.
The quartet contributed to Team Europe’s emphatic 16.5-11.5 victory over the United States in the 2023 Ryder Cup at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, and they will return to Bethpage Black in New York next week to defend their title.
Scottish star Robert McIntyre, ranked ninth in the world, is having a remarkable season, having finished runner-up at the US Open at Oakmont and the BMW Championship at Caves Valley, as well as finishing seventh at the 153rd Open at Portrush.
McIntyre said: “I’ve really enjoyed finishing the season in the Middle East, and I’m looking forward to returning to Abu Dhabi for the first of two major tournaments of the year. It’s been a good start to the year for me, and with great memories at Yas Links, I’m looking forward to continuing that momentum and finishing the season in the best possible way.”
Englishman Tyrrell Hatton, the 2019 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship champion, returns to Yas Links after finishing runner-up in the previous edition. He currently sits fifth in the Race to Dubai standings after winning the Hero Dubai Desert Classic last January and finishing fourth in the 2025 US Open.
Hatton said: “I have many special memories of the UAE, especially winning in Abu Dhabi in 2019 and this year’s victory in Dubai. Yas Island is a wonderful destination full of activities, and the tournament always has a special atmosphere. I’m looking forward to returning to Abu Dhabi to open the DP World Tour Finals.”
Matt Fitzpatrick, the 2022 US Open champion, has had a consistent season this year, achieving six top-10 finishes in the world, including a fourth-place finish at the 153rd Open in Northern Ireland.
Fitzpatrick said: “I’m very excited to be returning to Abu Dhabi. It’s been a good season, with positive results in several tournaments. Playing in Abu Dhabi is always special, and I hope to continue my strong performances and finish the season in the best possible way.”
Fitzpatrick has nine DP World Tour titles to his name and will be looking to build on his recent momentum, having secured two consecutive top-10 finishes on the DP World Tour in the past two weeks, and will also be aiming to add another Rolex Series title when the final qualifying round gets underway.
Organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the DP World Tour, the tournament is the penultimate leg of the season, immediately preceding the finale in Dubai, where the Race to Dubai champion will be crowned. Featuring the top 70 players available after the Pac-9 series, it will be the fourth Rolex Series event of the year. The tournament returns to Yas Links for the fourth consecutive year, following England’s Paul Waring’s maiden Rolex Series title in 2024.
Tournament fans will have a variety of opportunities to attend, with general admission free for the first two days, and tickets starting at AED 75 for the final two days, with a 25% discount during an exclusive promotional period. Fans can also upgrade their experience with the popular Bar on Nine option, which launched in the 2024 edition. Tickets are available starting from AED 230, including a food and beverage voucher worth AED 100. The premium hospitality experience is represented by the Championship Pavilion overlooking the 18th hole, where guests enjoy luxurious hospitality and panoramic views of the competition, with prices starting from AED 1,680.
