Abu Dhabi Police implements the “Together for Safe Shade” initiative to protect workers from the heat of the sun.
AbuDhabi(News Desk)::The Traffic and Patrols Department in Al Ain, affiliated with the Traffic and Patrols Directorate of the Abu Dhabi Police, implemented the “Together for a Safe Shade” initiative, targeting 500 workers in various professions across several areas of Al Ain. This initiative is part of its ongoing efforts during the Year of Community 2025 to enhance community safety and preserve the health of community members during the summer.
Colonel Saeed Ali Al Hassani, Deputy Director of Security Patrols Affairs in Al Ain at the Traffic and Security Patrols Department in Al Ain, emphasized th vital segment of society, especially in these climatic conditions, as they are an integral part of the process of growth and development.
The initiative included distributing cold water bottles, sun hats, and other protective supplies to protect workers from the sun’s heat. The Al Ain Traffic Awareness and Education Branch team also contributed to raising workers’ awareness of the dangers of direct exposure to the sun during peak hours by distributing informational brochures in several languages to ensure awareness messages reach the largest possible segment of workers and support groups of various nationalities.
