Abu Dhabi Police participate in the “Drug Prevention” event in the Al Dhana area.

 AbuDhabi(News Desk)::The Anti-Narcotics Department in the Al Dhafra Region of the Abu Dhabi Police participated in the “Drug Prevention” event at the Al Dhafra Mall Center in the Al Dhafra Region, in cooperation with the Al Dhafra Region Affairs Department – ADNOC.

Abu Dhabi Police affirmed its continued commitment to enhancing community awareness of the dangers of drugs and raising the level of preventive awareness among community members, in line with this year’s International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking slogan, “A Conscious Family… A Safe Society.”

The event included awareness-raising and interactive activities aimed at promoting positive behaviors and raising awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and its impact on public health and community security. It also highlighted the importance of regular vehicle inspections and their connection to public safety, as part of the police’s comprehensive approach to proactive prevention.

The event witnessed interaction from visitors and participants of all ages, who emphasized that these initiatives contribute to building an aware society, immune to the scourge of drugs, and strengthen bridges of cooperation between police agencies, community institutions, and the private sector.

Abu Dhabi Police highlighted its commitment to raising awareness among youth and families about the dangers of drugs through field presence and direct communication. This reflects its priority to enhance security and safety, and its leadership in achieving aspirations in the areas of community security and safety, as well as the sustainable development goals of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
