Tanishq Unveils Rare High Jewellery Collection at Exclusive Three-Day Exhibition in Dubai.
Tanishq Privé showcases more than 800 exceptional pieces and marks the regional debut of the Rahul Mishra x Tanishq collaboration.

Dubai (News Desk):: Tanishq, the fine jewellery brand of the Tata Group’s Titan Company, has opened Tanishq Privé, an exclusive, invitation-only high jewellery exhibition at JW Marriott Marquis in Business Bay, Dubai. Running from October 23 to 25, the three-day exhibition brings together more than 800 exceptional jewellery pieces, showcasing the craftsmanship, artistry and technical expertise of the brand’s master artisans.
The exhibition presents some of the most ambitious creations from Tanishq’s workshops, with each piece reflecting years of craftsmanship and the pursuit of exceptional design. It also marks the regional debut of the Rahul Mishra x Tanishq collaboration, bringing together two celebrated Indian creative traditions rooted in intricate handwork and artistic expression.
“The pieces in Tanishq Privé were not made for a season or a brief. They were made because our craftspeople had the vision and the skill to make them,” said Niraj Bhakare, AVP and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, International Business, Titan Company Limited.
He added that the exhibition offers a select audience an opportunity to experience Indian high jewellery without the usual constraints of cost or time, highlighting the extraordinary capabilities of Tanishq’s master craftspeople.
Celebrating the Artistry of Indian Jewellery
Each piece featured at Tanishq Privé has been selected for its exceptional craftsmanship, whether demonstrated through intricate stone setting, innovative design or complex construction techniques.
A distinctive feature across the collection is the embrace setting, in which gold rises around individual gemstones in sculpted points. This technique makes the metal an integral part of the artistic composition rather than merely a decorative frame.
Several creations incorporate sophisticated engineering, including hinged joints and independently suspended elements that allow necklaces to move naturally with the wearer. Other designs feature detachable medallions, interchangeable centre stones and convertible components that can transform between necklaces, pendants and maang tikkas.
The exhibition also highlights the skill involved in figurative jewellery, with creations such as intricately detailed peacocks featuring engraved feathers and carefully set plumage, alongside miniature sculptural representations of seated deities. These designs demand exceptional precision and expertise from goldsmiths, demonstrating traditional skills that remain highly specialised within the jewellery industry.
Four Themes Rooted in Indian Heritage
The exhibition draws inspiration from four enduring themes in Indian jewellery traditions.
The first is the garden, expressed through intricate vines, orchard-inspired motifs and hanging compositions in which the arrangement of open spaces is as carefully considered as the placement of gemstones.
The second is the peacock, one of the most technically demanding subjects in Indian figurative jewellery, requiring meticulous attention to feather patterns, texture and detailing.
The third is the Navratna arrangement, which brings together nine traditional gemstones whose colours and combinations carry cultural and symbolic significance.
The fourth theme draws on the architecture of Indian royal courts, incorporating elements such as pavilions, canopies, crescents, lattices and bell-shaped domes. These architectural forms have inspired generations of Indian jewellers and continue to shape the country’s rich jewellery heritage.
Rahul Mishra x Tanishq Makes Regional Debut
A major highlight of Tanishq Privé is the regional debut of the Rahul Mishra x Tanishq collaboration. The collection brings together the couturier’s intricate hand-embroidered artistry and Tanishq’s expertise in high jewellery.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to craftsmanship, traditional techniques and the value of time-intensive creative processes, showcasing the meeting of two Indian houses with complementary artistic approaches.
Diamond Expertise Centre Experience
In addition to the jewellery exhibition, visitors can experience Tanishq’s Diamond Expertise Centre, which includes live diamond testing conducted on-site.
The experience provides guests with an opportunity to observe the verification process and gain a closer understanding of the expertise involved in assessing diamonds.
Tanishq Privé runs until October 25, 2026, at JW Marriott Marquis, Business Bay, Dubai. Attendance is restricted to invited guests and requires prior arrangement.
The exhibition celebrates the work of Tanishq’s in-house master craftspeople, whose expertise spans goldsmithing, gemstone setting and figurative jewellery, bringing multiple specialised disciplines together within a single workshop.-END-
