Mal Opens New Career Opportunities for Emirati Talent as It Builds from Abu Dhabi to the World
Abu Dhabi(Web Desk):: 27 September 2026: Mal, the world’s first AI-native Islamic financial platform, is opening new career opportunities for UAE Nationals as it expands its team and advances its global ambitions from Abu Dhabi.
As the company continues to grow, Mal is seeking Emirati talent to join its journey and contribute to the development of a financial platform being built with a global audience in mind. The opportunities will allow UAE professionals to work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, technology and Islamic finance while bringing their expertise and perspectives to a fast-growing technology company.
The initiative comes as the UAE continues to strengthen Emirati participation in the private sector, with national workforce development remaining a key priority for the UAE Government.
As part of its outreach to Emirati candidates, Mal will host an Open House on Monday, 19 October 2026, at 6:30 PM at its Abu Dhabi office in Sky Tower, Al Reem Island.
The event will provide prospective candidates with an opportunity to meet the Mal team, learn more about the company and its vision, explore its working environment, and discover available career opportunities.
Commenting on the initiative, Abdallah Abu-Sheikh, Founder and CEO of Mal, said that the company is being built from Abu Dhabi with ambitions to serve customers globally, adding that Emirati talent should be part of that journey.
“We want to create meaningful opportunities for UAE Nationals to bring their expertise, ambition and perspective to what we are building, while growing alongside a company with global aspirations,” Abu-Sheikh said.
Mal is developing a new generation of financial services by combining the principles of Islamic finance with AI-native technology. According to the company, artificial intelligence is embedded into its core architecture from the outset rather than being introduced later as an additional feature. This approach supports Mal’s ambition to deliver a simpler and more connected financial experience.
Current career opportunities for UAE Nationals are available through the company’s careers platform.
The company also recently opened its global customer waitlist, three months after receiving In-Principle Approval (IPA) from the Central Bank of the UAE. Customers joining the waitlist can gain priority access to Mal’s initial product releases, as well as exclusive rewards and early access to new products and features as they become available.
With its operations and technology development anchored in Abu Dhabi, Mal says it aims to combine local talent and expertise with technology and Islamic finance to build a financial platform with international reach.
