IIFA 2027 Announces Star-Studded Hosts and Performers for Abu Dhabi.
ABU DHABI(News Desk):: The 27th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend & Awards is set to return to Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island on January 22–23, 2027, with a star-studded line-up of hosts and performers.
The two-day celebration will take place at Etihad Arena, Yas Island, bringing together leading names from Indian cinema, entertainment and digital storytelling. IIFA 2027 tickets are now on sale globally.
Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan will host the IIFA Awards 2027, while Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are set to perform during the main awards celebration.
The IIFA Digital Awards 2027 will be hosted by acclaimed actors Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal, adding a dedicated focus on the rapidly evolving world of digital entertainment.
The 2027 edition marks IIFA’s fourth showcase in Abu Dhabi, continuing its partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral. Organisers said the event will further strengthen the connection between Abu Dhabi and the global Indian entertainment community.
Director General for Tourism at DCT Abu Dhabi, H.E. Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, said IIFA’s return reflects the longstanding relationship between Abu Dhabi and India and contributes to the emirate’s profile as an international destination for entertainment and culture.
Miral Executive Director – Marketing, Communications and Events Taghrid Alsaeed said the organisation was delighted to welcome IIFA back to Yas Island, highlighting the event’s contribution to entertainment, tourism and Abu Dhabi’s international appeal.
IIFA will also continue its partnership with Sobha Realty, extending the collaboration into 2027 and marking four years of partnership. Sobha Realty will serve as Presenting Sponsor of IIFA Weekend and IIFA Digital Awards.
Meanwhile, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited will continue as IIFA’s official Broadcasting Partner, marking the third consecutive year of its association with the event.
In another major development, IIFA has partnered with YouTube for its 27th edition. The IIFA Awards 2027 will be streamed live worldwide on YouTube, alongside digital content including celebrity conversations, creator-led storytelling and behind-the-scenes coverage.
With its combination of major Bollywood stars, live performances, digital entertainment and global broadcasting, IIFA 2027 is expected to bring Indian cinema and its international audience together at Etihad Arena.
IIFA Weekend & Awards 2027 will take place on January 22–23, 2027, at Etihad Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Tickets are currently available to audiences worldwide.
