Forbes Middle East Healthcare Leaders Summit to Bring 3,000 Participants to Abu Dhabi.
ABU DHABI(News Desk):: September 19, 2026: The fifth edition of the Forbes Middle East Healthcare Leaders Summit – Abu Dhabi 2026 will be held on September 22–23 under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
Hosted by Forbes Middle East in partnership with PureHealth, the two-day summit is expected to bring together around 3,000 participants and more than 100 speakers, including policymakers, healthcare executives, scientists, physicians and industry specialists from the UAE, the region and around the world.
Held under the theme “Defining Global Standards in Healthcare Excellence,” the summit will examine major developments shaping the future of healthcare, including precision medicine, artificial intelligence, population health, digital transformation, scientific innovation and healthcare investment.
The program will focus on six key themes: advancing healthcare excellence; longevity and precision health; population health; intelligent and integrated care ecosystems; scientific breakthroughs and global collaboration; and investment focused on growth, value and sustainability.
The speaker lineup includes H.E. Dr. Amin Hussain Al Ameeri, Assistant Undersecretary of the Health Regulation Sector at the Ministry of Health and Prevention; Shaista Asif, Group CEO of PureHealth; Dr. Asma Al Mannaei, Executive Director of the Health Life Sciences Sector at the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi; Huda Ayas, Associate Dean for International Medicine and Health Sciences at George Washington University; Dr. Cheng-Kai Kao, Chief Medical Information Officer at University of Chicago Medicine; Professor Shafi Ahmed, Consultant Surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust; and Dr. Usamah (Sam) Mossallam, Vice President and Medical Director of Henry Ford Health International.
Khuloud Al Omian, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Middle East, said the summit would provide a platform for healthcare leaders to move beyond anticipating transformation and focus on its implementation and tangible impact, while strengthening knowledge exchange and partnerships that support innovation and improved healthcare outcomes.
A dedicated Doctor’s Circle will also form part of the summit, featuring CME-accredited sessions by Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC). The sessions will give attending physicians an opportunity to earn continuing education credits while exchanging clinical knowledge and expertise.
Among the participating specialists are Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad Jan, Consultant and Chair of Pediatric Surgery at SSMC; Dr. Saeed Husain Almarzooqi, Consultant Hepatologist at SSMC; Prof. Faisal Abaalkhail, Consultant Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre; and Dr. Marian Khatib, Chief of the Breast Cancer Center at American Hospital Dubai.
The summit is held in partnership with PureHealth, with Al Khayyat Investments, APEX Health and Capital Health as event partners.
