Fortes Education Schools Celebrate Exceptional 2026 Academic Results.
Sunmarke School and Regent International School record outstanding GCSE and A-level achievements, alongside strong IB and BTEC outcomes.
DUBAI(News Desk):: Fortes Education is celebrating an exceptional year of academic achievement across its schools, with students at Sunmarke School and Regent International School recording outstanding GCSE and A-level results in 2026.
The results highlight the schools’ continued focus on academic excellence, student wellbeing and holistic development, with strong performances recorded across a wide range of subjects and qualifications.
At Sunmarke School, 67% of all GCSE grades were awarded at grades 9–7, equivalent to A*–A, while 46% achieved grades 9–8 and 24% of entries secured the highest possible grade 9.
Across the overall GCSE results profile, 86% of grades were awarded at grades 9–6, while 99% achieved grades 9–4. In addition, 97% of students secured five or more grades at 9–4, including English and Mathematics.
Sunmarke students delivered particularly strong performances in core subjects. In Mathematics, 82% of grades were awarded at 9–7, including one-third at grade 9. At grades 9–7, students achieved 85% in Biology, 90% in Chemistry and 93% in Physics.
Among the standout individual achievements, one Sunmarke student secured an extraordinary 11 grade 9s, achieving the highest possible grade in every subject studied.
The school’s senior pathways also recorded impressive results, with A-level and BTEC programmes achieving a 100% pass rate. Overall, 85% of A-level and BTEC grades were awarded at A*–B, while 60% of A-level results were graded A*–A. Meanwhile, 79% of BTEC grades were awarded at Distinction or Distinction*.
Sunmarke’s IB Diploma Programme also produced strong results earlier in the summer, with students achieving an average score of 36.4 points, well above the global average. Some 67% of students achieved 35 points or more, with graduates securing places at leading universities around the world.
Nicholas Rickford, Principal of Sunmarke School, said the results reflected the determination of students, families and staff throughout their educational journey.

He added that the school remained committed to maintaining high standards across every grade level and ensuring students were well prepared for the next stage of their education.
Meanwhile, Regent International School also recorded an outstanding set of GCSE and A-level results.
At GCSE level, the school achieved a 100% pass rate, with 93% of examination entries graded 9–4, 74% achieving grades 9–6 and 55% securing grades 9–7.
At A-level, Regent International achieved a 99% overall pass rate, with 97% of grades awarded at A*–C and 82% at A*–B. Students achieved 100% A–B grades in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Product Design.
Three students from the 2026 A-level cohort achieved particularly exceptional results, reflecting their commitment and determination throughout their Sixth Form studies.
David Williams, Principal of Regent International School, congratulated students, teachers and families on the results, describing the achievements as a special moment for the entire school community.
He said the results represented more than academic performance, highlighting the maturity, confidence and resilience students had developed during their school years.
Williams added that many students would continue their education in the school’s Sixth Form, where they would have the opportunity to build on their achievements and pursue their future ambitions.
