Human remains found near Tucson amid Nancy Guthrie investigation

As Nancy Guthrie’s disapperance marks six months, investigators are yet to arrest the suspects.

But now an emergency call has been made to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department about possible human remains being discovered in San Xavier.

The area is rural and nearly 20 miles southwest of Tucson, where Nancy lives.

According to reports, deputies were dispatched to the scene around 8:50 am.

SAR – Search and Rescue unit of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department – has been responding to the call.

Immediately, the discovery call raised speculation about whether it could be connected to Nancy’s investigation.

But the investigators insisted that currently there is no information to link the remains with the 84-year-old’s case.

“The call is still being worked right now,” the official said.

Nancy, however, is still missing and was last seen at home on Feb 1.
