Warner Bros. World Yas Island Unveils ‘Kryptonite Collider’, Its First New Thrill Ride.
Immersive DC attraction invites guests to join Lex Luthor’s daring experiment as the award-winning theme park expands its world-class entertainment offering.
Abu Dhabi(News Desk):: Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi has officially launched “Kryptonite Collider” an all-new DC-inspired thrill ride that immerses visitors in the sinister world of Lex Luthor. The attraction marks the theme park’s first permanent ride addition since it opened its doors in 2018, further strengthening its position as one of the region’s premier entertainment destinations.
Located in the vibrant streets of Metropolis, the new attraction invites guests to become volunteers in Lex Luthor’s “Everyman Project,” a fictional experiment designed to grant ordinary people extraordinary superhuman abilities through the power of kryptonite—the legendary mineral known as Superman’s greatest weakness.
The experience begins inside the iconic LexCorp laboratory, where visitors receive a mission briefing before boarding a state-of-the-art 32-seat centrifuge-style thrill ride. Combining powerful motion, immersive audio, synchronized lighting effects and dynamic visual storytelling, the attraction delivers an adrenaline-filled adventure that places riders at the centre of one of DC’s most compelling storylines.
As the experiment reaches its dramatic conclusion, guests are greeted with interactive digital displays revealing their newly “unlocked” superpowers, creating a personalised finale that extends the immersive experience beyond the ride itself.

The attraction debuts alongside DC Super Hero Season, running until 30 August, transforming Warner Bros. World Yas Island into an action-packed battleground where legendary DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains come face-to-face. Throughout the summer, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, exclusive character encounters and interactive experiences across the park.
Todays opening follows another landmark moment for Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi,
after being named the Best Theme Park in the World at the 2026 Liseberg Applause Award,
becoming the first attraction in the Middle East to receive the industrys highest honour.
