Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority activates the “Training Center” at the Liwa International Festival 2026.

AbuDhabi(News Desk)::The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority is organizing training and awareness programs for visitors in the fields of firefighting and first aid, as part of its participation in the Liwa International Festival 2026, with the aim of enabling members of the community to deal effectively with emergency situations, and based on the Authority’s keenness to promote preventive awareness among festival visitors, and to establish a culture of safety as a fundamental pillar for protecting lives and property.

The authority opened training halls designed in an interactive style, which included special programs for children. It also equipped the outdoor area with fire simulators and safety equipment, in addition to setting up training tents to teach visitors how to use fire extinguishers in a safe and effective way, to learn the basics of first aid, and to provide them with the practical knowledge necessary to deal with emergency situations.

The training center aims to raise the efficiency of community members by providing practical training that simulates reality in a safe environment, while involving children in simplified awareness and training programs, and promoting a culture of prevention and rapid response to accidents, under the supervision of specialized personnel, with the issuance of voluntary training certificates to participants in the programs.
