King Charles reminisces upon his time in the Canadian artic

King Charles has been living as one with nature but it all started after his trip to the Canadian artic, for a visit to the Frobisher elementary school, back in 1975.

According to the Royal Family’s own Instagram post, there the then-Prince of Wales was “ambushed to try a unique indigenous delicacy – high in nutrients but an acquired taste!”

What is pertinent to mention about this trip is that multiple decades later naturalist Steve Backshall’s is taking a trip down memory lane and recounting His Majesty’s own trip down there, in a ITVXofficial show called Royal Arctic Challenge.

Regarding time there, the video also shows the King of England get candid and say, “It was amazing in those days because it was still—thank God I saw as it should be, really.”

“I learnt a great deal from going there,” he also added in the clip before the interviewer showed him an unearthed archived clip about a “particular local practice” as they called it. The practice being a little girl’s ambush where he was offered something he couldn’t turn down eating— the item in question was raw seal liver.
